OVERVIEW
We were responsible for the planning, structuring, direction, production, and photo direction for MIO HARUTAKA, a luxury jewelry brand based in Japan with a global reach. Aiming to break out of domestic boundaries and reach a wider international audience, we introduced the use of a Black model, which was still a fresh approach for luxury jewelry brands at the time. To convey timelessness that transcends nationality and era, we proposed styling and hair & makeup direction, ultimately creating ageless black-and-white photos.

日本を拠点に、世界展開を行っているラグジュアリージュエリーブランド、MIO HARUTAKAの企画、構成、ディレクション、プロダクション、写真ディレクションを担当。国内の枠に嵌まらない、世界への発信を目的とした、この時期まだラグジュアリージュエリーブランドとしては目新しい、黒人モデル起用。国や国籍を問わない、時代を超越した永続性を表現すべく、スタイリングやヘアメイクディレクションを提案し、色褪せないモノクロ写真に仕上げました。
